I have experience in mental health, substance abuse, and educational settings. I have practiced as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois since 2012. In education, I hold a "highly qualified teacher" designation and hold type 03 – teaching certification for grades K-9 and a type 73- school counseling certification.
I work with children, adolescents, adults and family systems. My areas of expertise include treatment of addictions, depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress management, anger management, relationship difficulties, academic difficulties, and other unhelpful behavior patterns. I strive to respectfully work with you from a solution-focused perspective, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other skills training approaches.
